About Water Weights

Water Weights' water filled proof load bags were originally designed in 1979, as a safer and more cost effective alternative to solid weights, for testing the safe working load of cranes on North Sea oil & gas installations.

The development of this highly engineered and certified system has greatly increased the practicality, economy and safety of providing proof load testing in many applications. In addition, certain proof load testing situations are only feasible with the use of Water Weights.

The company has built on and expanded its expertise to encompass a wide variety of associated services and engineering project management. Water Weights' customer base now includes oil & gas, defence, construction, process, power and utilities, and marine and shipping industries.
